The Australian Youth Space Academy is a four day program held in Canberra, our nation’s capital. The Space Academy is in close proximity to Mount Stromlo and Tidbinbilla Deep Space Communications Complex as well as other world class research organisations.

AYSA was designed by a team of STEM experts with one goal in mind, to provide a meaningful Space centered program that allows students to develop real skills and to inspire them to follow their passions into the future through hands-on experiences, guest speakers and site visits.

Our mission is to connect you with all things space. To inspire you to pursue your chosen field of interest and get you up to speed with what is happening in the Australian Space Industry.
Our Program
Our program includes Astronomy and Solar Imaging, Rocket Designing, Building and Launching, Problem Solving, Virtual Reality tours of NASA along with presenters from Universities and companies that operate in these fields.

Our staff are passionate about all things Space. We look forward to sharing our skills with you from 3D Design to building rockets to exploring the night sky.
